I'd like to make measuring very simple for you.
You don't have to worry about bracelet sizes, simply select your actual wrist size.

With a soft measuring tape, measure your wrist where you want your bracelet to lie, either right above your wrist bone or below it at the top of the hand. When you order your bracelet, select the closest size from the dropdown list. If you are not an exact 6 or 6.5 (for example) always go the next size larger to ensure that your bracelet will not be too small. I'll allow the proper amount of extra room for each clasp type.

If you don't have a soft measuring tape, you can measure your wrist with a piece of yarn, paper or tape (with help!), then use a ruler or metal measuring tape to measure the piece of yarn, paper or tape.

*Measuring Notes*
Keep in mind that these bracelets should not have a completely snug fit as most clasps would be far too difficult to get on your wrists. If you'd really prefer a snug fitting bracelet, I can custom order a more suitable clasp.

Extra room is allowed for toggle clasps as they require a bit of "play" to get them done up.

Lobster Clasps will allow a tighter fit, but can be more difficult to get done up on your own.

If you do not see a size that will fit you, simply email me and I'll take note of your measurements at the time you order.

If you are ordering a bracelet as a gift, try to get an idea of what size you THINK that person is, but be advised that looks CAN be deceiving! I am NOT a petite woman but my wrist size is exactly the same size as my VERY petite friend - who knew? As a guideline, its "said" that the "average" wrist size is around 7 and 7.25 inches.

**Special Note BEFORE Ordering**
Please take the extra time to measure if you want your bracelet to fit a certain way. Sending the bracelet back to me to be resized CAN be done, but its a costly option. (And may be at YOUR expense!) If you don't measure ahead of time, resizing will be at your own expense. If it is my mistake, I will pay to have the bracelet shipped back and restrung or replaced. Should the sizing on your bracelet not be correct, simply email me and we'll make arrangements to correct the size. I will quote you for any changes at that time. As a general rule, resizing fees are $7.50 plus actual shipping charges. (Some items cannot be reused once a bracelet is taken apart and must be replaced. Time involved is about 45 minutes, not including packaging and shipping)
