Heaven's Tears Memorial bracelets are one of my "Designs with Meaning". They aren't just pretty, they are symbolic.
For someone who has lost a loved one, especially a child, a design like this can have special meaning.
The components of each bracelet have meaning.
Pearls
In many cultures, pearls are known to symbolize tears. Ancient people believed they were God's or the Angel's tears. Pearls are said to bring a calming effect and have long been associated with love. Almost all the Heaven's Tears designs have Fresh Water Pearls included. They add a beauty and luster especially when used with sterling silver and pastel colored beads but also add a richness to the darker gemstone colors. When you see the pearls in your bracelet design, you'll know what they are a reminder of.
Butterflies
Butterflies can be symbolic of change, joy, new life and for many, they can also symbolize the passing and new life of a loved one. Whatever you believe, butterflies can simply be a reminder of taking time to stop and smell the flowers and not letting life pass you by. Butterflies show us how delicate and fragile life can be. It is also said that butterflies are attracted to tears. How fitting to use them in the Heaven's Tears designs. Some of these designs will use butterflies in the form of a sterling silver charm, crystal bead or sterling silver butterfly bead. When you see a butterfly in a Heaven's Tears bracelet, you'll now know why its there.
Crystals & Gemstones
The crystals and gemstones used also have meaning. The colored crystals are symbolic of your loved ones birthstone or of a color or colors that were special to them or have meaning for you. You can choose any color you wish in your design. If there is a color of a stone you are looking for that is not in the drop-down selection list, just email me and I'll get it for you. Some custom bracelet designs can be made with actual birthstones, when requested. Sterling Silver Charms
Some bracelets will have sterling silver charms. If there is a special item that has meaning for you and you'd like a charm included in your design, just let me know. I have access to hundreds of charms and I'm sure I can find almost anything you could want.
Crystal Teardrop
Every "Heaven's Tears" bracelet design has a teardrop crystal attached at the clasp. Why at the clasp? For me, having a unique charm at the clasp is a reminder of something special. It seems fitting that something important to us should be kept close to the heartbeat. The clasp is where our pulse is, the sign of our own life. So when you see a special component at the clasp, you'll know its intended to symbolize something dear to your heart.
Alphabet Beads
Of course one of the most special things about "Heaven's Tears" designs is the individual design component... Your loved one's name! There are at least 3 alphabet beads that you can choose from. I prefer to work with the 4.5 mm. cubes because they allow the bracelet to have more crystal, gemstone, pearls and silver in the design. The larger 5.5 mm. cubes, when combined with a larger name, can take up half of your bracelet and you won't get nearly as many pretty colors and design options. Another option is the beautiful and delicate HEART SHAPED alphabet beads. They are larger than both the cubes, at 7 mm. each, so are not suitable for longer names. Its recommended that names over 7 letters be created with the 4.5 mm. cube beads. If you prefer the heart beads and a longer name, it can be done, but there will be much less variation in the bead design. Bracelets created with more silver alphabet beads will also be higher priced as they contain much more silver than the standard bracelets.
